What we are
COS Scoop is a free, independent weekly newsletter for people who live in (or love) Colorado Springs. Every Thursday morning we send a short, friendly email with things to do, places to eat, trails to walk and ride, and what's coming up around town.
We don't cover breaking news or politics. There are great local outlets for that. We're the email you open when you're trying to figure out what to do this weekend.
How we pick
- Checked, not copied. Every event, address, hour and price is confirmed against the official source (the organizer, venue, city or park agency) before it goes in an issue.
- Local first. We focus on the Springs and nearby communities like Manitou Springs, Monument, Fountain and Falcon.
- Clearly labeled sponsors. Local businesses help keep the Scoop free. Paid placements are always marked as sponsored and never disguised as editorial picks.
