Happy hour is the cheapest way to finally try the place you keep driving past. Every deal below comes straight from the venue's own website or menu, checked in October 2026. We only kept spots that publish actual prices (no "ask your server"), and we spread the list across town, from the Old North End to Security-Widefield.

Happy hours change with little warning, and plenty are bar- or patio-only. Tap through to the menu before you go, and line up a ride home.

1Streetcar520

📍 Downtown (Trolley district) · 520 S. Tejon St.

When: Every day, 4–6 p.m.

The deal: $5 pints, $5 wells, $5 house wine and a $10 beer-and-a-shot (whiskey, tequila or vodka). Select appetizers are 50% off, including the fries & curry, the smoked gouda mac & cheese and the birria bao buns.

Good to know: On weekdays the doors open at 4 p.m., so happy hour is the first two hours of service. Weekend brunch runs Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Reservations are on Resy.

2Golden Hour at the Mining Exchange

📍 Downtown · inside the Mining Exchange hotel, 8 S. Nevada Ave.

When: Monday–Friday, 4–7 p.m.

The deal: $5 house draft, $7 house wine and $8 cocktails (classic margarita, Moscow mule or Aperol spritz). Oysters are 3 for $9, 6 for $18 or 9 for $27. There's also an $11 happy hour burger, $9 chile verde wings and $9 dill fries.

Good to know: Margarita Monday is buy one, get one 50% off, from 4 p.m. to close. There's a patio, and live jazz on Thursday evenings.

3STIR Coffee & Cocktails

📍 Old North End · 2330 N. Wahsatch Ave.

When: Every day, 4–6 p.m.

The deal: $5 wells, $5 wines and $1 off every Colorado beer.

Good to know: A coffee shop by day and the neighborhood bar by night, with shelves of books and booze. The patio is dog-friendly, and there are treats on the menu for your pup. You only need a reservation for groups of six or more.

4Tapateria

📍 Old Colorado City · 2607 W. Colorado Ave.

When: Monday–Friday, 4–6 p.m.

The deal: $5 house wines, $5 beers and $3 sangria.

Good to know: Every day has its own special too: Sangria Sunday ($3 glasses, $12 carafes), Margarita Monday (50% off house margaritas), Tasting Tuesday ($10 flights of sherry, wine or port) and Wine Wednesday (20% off bottles).

📍 West Colorado Ave. (between Downtown and Old Colorado City) · 503 W. Colorado Ave.

When: Tuesday–Friday, 3–6 p.m., plus all day Thursday.

The deal: $10 house cocktails (all but the Korean Zombie), $5 wells, $4 house wines, $1 off draft beer, $2 off small bites and a $7 Chareau margarita.

Good to know: The food is contemporary American with Asian influences. Wednesday knocks $2 off every glass of wine all day, and on Sunday flavored Jinro soju is $10 a bottle.

6Cowboy Star

📍 North Nevada (near UCCS) · 5198 N. Nevada Ave., #150

When: Every day, 3–6 p.m., in the bar only.

The deal: A four-tier menu: $7 beer and small bites, $8 well drinks and bigger bites, $9 hand-selected wine and specialty bites, and $10 specialty cocktails and "bites from the butcher."

Good to know: It's a steakhouse and butcher shop, so happy hour is the friendly-priced way in, and it runs seven days a week.

7Milagros Cocina Mexicana

📍 North (Academy Blvd.) · 7455 N. Academy Blvd.

When: Monday–Friday, 2–6 p.m., and again 9 p.m. to close. Bar seating only.

The deal: $6 casa margarita, $6.50 flavored margaritas on the rocks (peach, guava, mango, passionfruit or cucumber), $4 house tequila shots, $4 short and $5 tall drafts, and $5 house wine. Food runs $2.50 street tacos (tinga or barbacoa), $2.50 flautas, $3 grilled corn ribs, $3.50 guacamole and $5.50 tamarind-glazed pork ribs.

Good to know: Tortillas are handmade at a station in the middle of the room. The late session is handy after a movie or a late shift.

8Kelly O'Brian's

📍 East side · 239 N. Academy Blvd.

When: Monday–Saturday, 4–7 p.m.

The deal: The cheapest pours on this list: $3.25 domestic pints, $3.50 domestic bottles, $3.75 premium pints, $4.25 premium bottles, $3.50 wells, $3.25 wine and $1 off pitchers. Wings are $1.25 each.

Good to know: Wings are dine-in only, with no to-go boxes. It's a sports bar, and it's 21+ after 6:30 p.m.

9The Local Table

📍 Security-Widefield · 215 Fontaine Blvd.

When: Monday–Friday, 3–6 p.m.

The deal: Half-price bottled beer, glasses of wine and wells. Bottles of wine are half price every Thursday from 4 p.m. to close.

Good to know: There's a pet-friendly patio and a military discount. It's a solid south-end pick when you don't feel like driving downtown.

10Shrunken Head Tiki

📍 Downtown · 114 N. Tejon St., Suite 10

When: Every day, 4–7 p.m., plus a late-night round from 8 p.m. to 1:45 a.m.

The deal: $6 tiki drinks from 4 to 7: the Lei It On Me, Beachin' Colada, Voodoo Drip and Shrunken Punch. Late night brings $5 shots, like the Pineapple Upside Down Cake and the Snack-quiri.

Good to know: Look for the single door between Oskar Blues and Liquid Courage on Tejon, or follow the neon signs in from the alley off Bijou. Parties of five or more get a 20% gratuity added.
